yummy bakery

Claire has taken an interest in baking, so much so that she has her favorite baking blogs bookmarked. It finally dawned on me this Christmas season to have her write down all of her ingredients, buy them for her, and SHE can do the Christmas baking. It would free up time for me to cuddle Patrick and monkey with pictures and play my Santa duties. I baked a little bit this month, but not even close to what I usually do. Yay for simplifying!

Claire made these concoctions last Sunday. They are long gone, but wow were they good. Sinfully delicious. They’re called Mini Dark Chocolate Candy Cane Kiss Cheesecakes. Here’s the link to the recipe: http://www.laurenslatest.com/mini-dark-chocolate-candy-cane-kiss-cheesecakes/

  • They look yummy, but goodness that’s a long name for them. Almost seems like a bit of a tongue twister. 🙂

  • I know, what a long name!! Can you imagine rattling that off to people? I think I’ll go with “mini chocolate cheesecakes.”

  • How about Mini Mint Chocolate Cheesecakes? Fun alliteration in that name.

  • how fun! I was probably about this age when I started to enjoy being in the kitchen too. I did almost all the meals/baking for my job on the weekends, and I loved it! My Mom did too, she could do the other things that she loved more!
